Metropolitan Is Named Orange County’s “Best Door and Window Company”
ANAHEIM, CA — Every year, thousands of readers of The Orange County Register cast votes to choose the county’s best activities, shops, restaurants, and businesses. The biggest vote-getters are reviewed in a special publication: The Orange County Register’s Best of OC magazine.
This year, Orange County Register readers cast tens of thousands of votes, a 22% increase over 2019. The businesses and attractions they voted for are recognized in the 27th Annual Best of Orange County magazine.
Metropolitan High Performance Windows is a proud and distinguished recipient of the “Best of Orange County: Best Door and Window Company” award. It is an honor to be recognized as a leading provider of home windows, patio doors, and entry doors, by homeowners in Orange County. The award emphasizes the pride that our owner, installers, and customer service team take in providing the best replacement windows and best customer service in the industry.
“It is an honor to be recognized for the second year in a row as one of the best replacement window companies in Orange County. This award means even more this year because, like so many other small businesses, we are not immune to the hardships brought on by the coronavirus. Competing with big businesses and franchises can be difficult as a small, family-owned company. But the support and recognition of homeowners throughout Orange County makes it all worthwhile.”

About Metropolitan High Performance Windows
There’s no sales team with Metropolitan High Performance Windows. If you reach out to the Anaheim-based company for a free estimate, you’ll be meeting with Paul Richart. “Every customer is going to be dealing directly with the owner,” Richart says by phone. This method, he adds, allows Metropolitan High Performance Windows to offer “no-nonsense, haggle-free quotes. “I’m just trying to find the right window to fit their budget and what they’re looking for.”
There’s no showroom either. Richart, who owns the window company that has been a fixture of the community for over 20 years, focuses on home visits with customers. Right now, many of those customers are looking for energy-efficient window and door solutions, as well as ways to maximize their view.
“People are enlarging windows, opening up walls so that they can have a bigger viewing area for their yar, front and back,” he says. Door trends, he says, are similar. “People are wanting to make their house more pleasant to be there, like a vacation in your backyard because you’re stuck at your house. They’re opening things up.”
